Material & Design-The plate is made of light plastics which is very sturdy. Chain is small but is holding up well, even with bigger birds like jays and cardinals on it, and multiple birds at once. It is deep enough that the water won't evaporate away in a day or two, but also not too deep where I have to worry about birds drowning.
