Material & Design-The plate is made of light plastics which is very sturdy. Chain is small but is holding up well, even with bigger birds like jays and cardinals on it, and multiple birds at once. It is deep enough that the water won't evaporate away in a day or two, but also not too deep where I have to worry about birds drowning.
Very easy Installation.- with a hanging hook you can hang from hook in a tree or from a shepherd hook without installation tools and simple to put together
Reduce Waste- it can withstand a potential squirrel but not break the bank. Grabbed an extra one for loose seed and whole peanuts
Easy to Use-It can be hanged in the tree & shallow enough for the little finches and light weight, easy to clean, and the birds are protected from cats and squirrels while they drink.
Wide Use- It can be used for winter drinking water and/or bird bath and the other for nuts, fruits, suet, seeds etc. for cardinals and other birds.
